Marble Vase
Our marble goods were derived from an exercise in abstracting latent geometric forms of the golden ratio into three dimensional objects. The resulting collection is a series of formally restrained, yet resonant objects.
Our vase collection is comprised of a hand carved marble base with a hand blown glass upper.

Handwash and dry glass portion of vase.

A classic white marble with grey veining.
Details
We hand-selected a number of marble types, predominantly native to China, in an effort to reduce the embodied energy of the collection and celebrate the unique and diverse offerings of the region's stone supply. The glass uppers of the vase collection are hand-blown with a variating wall thickness to create an ephemeral gradation on the smoke offerings.
