Open the enclosure by sliding or removing the cover according to the included instructions. Insert a 2.5-inch SATA hard drive or SSD into the drive bay and connect it to the SATA connector inside the enclosure. Close and secure the enclosure. Connect the included 0.3m USB Micro-B cable from the enclosure to a USB 3.0 port on your computer. The drive will be recognised automatically on most operating systems without additional drivers. Format the drive if required before first use. To safely disconnect, eject the drive through your operating system before unplugging the cable.

Yes. The enclosure supports any standard 2.5-inch SATA hard drive (HDD) or solid state drive (SSD) up to 4TB. It is not compatible with NVMe or M.2 drives.

Yes. The KINGDIAN S280 is a 2.5-inch SATA SSD and is compatible with this enclosure. Together they make a complete portable SSD solution.
Does it require drivers?

Is USB 3.0 backward compatible with USB 2.0 ports?
