What’s Covered?
•Defects in materials, construction, or workmanship.
•Warranty applies only to the original purchaser.
What’s Not Covered?
•Chips in the blade, broken knife tips, food discoloration, and rust spots (these can often be fixed by sharpening or proper maintenance).
•Damage caused by misuse or accidents, including:
•Cutting frozen foods, bones, hard nuts, or cheese.
•Using the knife as a screwdriver, can opener, or other improper use.
•Dropping the knife on the floor or hitting hard surfaces.
•Rust and discoloration due to improper care.
•Return postage costs.
•Warranty is void if the knife leaves the country where it was originally purchased.
Proper Care & Storage Tips
•Wash Immediately – Clean with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly after each use.
•Avoid Dishwashers – The harsh conditions of a dishwasher can damage the knife and lead to corrosion.
•Store Properly – Keep knives in a dry atmosphere, using a knife block or magnetic rack.

At JapanChefKnife.com, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you're not happy with your item, we offer a 30-day return or exchange policy to ensure your peace of mind. Please read the following guidelines carefully:
Returns:
To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following criteria:
The item must be in its original packaging and in the same condition you received it.
It must be unused, with all tags and labels attached.
You need to provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
Initiating a Return:
To start a return, follow these steps:
Log in to your account.
The system will display all items eligible for return.
If your return is accepted, we'll provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on where and how to send your package.
Please note that items returned to us without prior authorization and without following the return procedure will not be accepted.
Return Shipping Costs:
Kindly note that return shipping costs are not included in our coverage. Customers are responsible for covering the return shipping expenses to our warehouse in Ontario, Canada.
Exchanges:
If you want to exchange an item, please provide details in the return notes section during the return process. We'll do our best to accommodate your exchange request.
Damages and Issues:
Upon receiving your order, please carefully inspect the items. If you notice any defects or damages received item, contact us immediately. We'll work with you to evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items:
Sale items: We do not accept returns on items purchased during a sale.
Gift cards: Unfortunately, we cannot process returns for gift cards.

Return/Exchange (International)
All orders are shipped from Ontario, Canada. At this time, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on international orders. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.
Refunds:
After we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you about the approval of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow your bank or credit card company some time to process and post the refund.
